About Economic Development in Rosthern
Rosthern is a vibrant community of approximately 1,850 residents, strategically nestled in the heart of central Saskatchewan. Surrounded by fertile farmland and a robust healthcare sector, Rosthern is a thriving hub of economic activity, energized by flourishing retail opportunities. Its prime location along highway 11, conveniently situated between Saskatoon and Prince Albert, enhances its attractiveness for both residential and business ventures. With a strong and proactive Chamber of Commerce committed to empowering local entrepreneurs and fostering valuable regional connections, Rosthern is not just a place to live and work - it's a community poised for growth and success.
We take great pride in fostering an attractive and welcoming community that invites everyone to feel at home. Our vibrant arts and culture scene attracts many from the Twin Rivers region and beyond. Coupled with our well-maintained green spaces and walking trails, along with outstanding recreational facilities, we offer a lifestyle that everyone desires. Rosthern is home to the Jubilee Sports Centre, which features an arena and curling rink, as well as the Valley Aquatic Centre, open from May to September to help everyone beat the summer heat. Our ball diamonds regularly host provincial competitions, and the community multi-purpose centre serves as a fantastic venue for events, complemented by a variety of planned activities from our Recreation department.
